The core competence of Highbridge is the petrographic and chemical analysis of construction materials as these apply to the investigation of material qualities, performance issues, and durability. Most all of our resources are applied to these tests and examinations. However, there are many physical tests that complement our investigations but are often outside the scope of materials testing labs involved in routine QA/QC. Highbridge performs many of these specialty tests so that we may provide more thorough information to our clients. 

Some of these tests are material-specific such as those that determine the physical properties of hydraulic cement or brick masonry. Others are property-specific such as those used to quantify the freeze-thaw resistance of construction materials and assemblies. Highbridge performs these tests in accordance with ASTM methods or foreign standards where appropriate. We also can modify existing standards or accommodate non-standardized tests where these are required by project specifications.
